Introduction

For a reverse shipment, mentioning the dimensions and weight of the item is absolutely required for many logistic carriers. Using the same dimensions and weight for all items will cost more as there will be weight fluctuations depending on the product. Modifying the package dimensions for each request will also be difficult in case you're manually processing a lot of request

EcoReturns makes it extremely easy & efficient for you to process returns by creating a package template and using it while creating a reverse shipment.

Steps to follow

Follow the steps below to 'Create package template' in just a few clicks: 

1. Login to your EcoReturns dashboard.

2. After logging in, select ‘Packages’ from the left-side of the menu under 'Settings'

3. Click on Add New Template

4. Click on edit icon to modify your Package name

5. Modify the Dimension values i.e. Length, Width, Height, Weight, Respective units according to your needs

6. Click on Save Template and you're done!

7. You can use the Package template while you're creating a reverse shipment. The dimensions will be populated once you select the template.

8. If you want to create a new template you can do that by selecting Custom package template, entering dimensions, weight and checking the Add to Package template checkbox.

9. Package templates can even be used in automations. You can setup rules to use different package templates depending on the Product or Weight range of the item.
