How to generate labels?

If you have reached to the stage of generating return labels, I’m sure you are all set up with your returns and exchanges portal. Once return requests start coming in from your portal, you need to send return labels to your customers. Creating your return label can get tedious if you don’t have a right solution. With EcoReturns, you can generate labels in just a few clicks. Also, you can define package templates while sending labels to optimize costs. Here’s how- 

1. Login to your EcoReturns dashboard and click on Packages on the left side menu 
2. Click on ‘Add new template’ where you can add create various templates as per weight and dimensions 
3. Next, fill out all the necessary details such as length, width, height and weight. Change the name of the template and click on ‘Save template.’ 
4. Go to your returns dashboard and select the order ID you want to generate the label for 
5. On the detailed order page, click on ‘Reverse Shipment/Label’ on top of the page and select ‘Create shipping label.’ 
6. Select the package template from the dropdown which will automatically fetch all the product details. Click on ‘Confirm’. 
7. You can also upload your own shipping label by clicking on the link below the button. 
8. There are two ways you can generate the label: 
   1. Prepaid label – To generate a prepaid label select ‘Paid by merchant’ as your preferred option. Select the shipping partner you want to proceed with and click on Proceed. 
   2. Paid by Customer – If you wish to send a payment link to your customer for the label, select ‘Paid by customer’ as your preferred option. Click on the checkbox beside ‘E-mail to customer’ and your customers will receive the payment link in their inbox.
