How to set up return policies

Returns have become an expected part of online shopping experience. If you want to acquire customers or even expect repeated customers on your store, it’s important that you offer them a hassle-free returns experience. And for that, the first step is to create a return policy for your brand.  

Almost 30% of shoppers will not shop from a store that does not have a return policy in place. This data clearly indicates the importance of having a well-designed return policy.  

Here’s how you can easily set up return policy from the EcoReturns dashboard: 

  1. Login to your EcoReturns dashboard and click on ‘Return Policies’ on the left menu 
  2. On the next page, click on ‘Add a New Policy’ button on the top 
  3. Next, you can either select from the ‘Commonly used policies’ on the left or curate your own policies. 
  4. To curate your own policy, first select the parameters of your choice for example ‘price’, ‘less_than', ‘500’. Next select the condition you want to put such as ‘Exchange_not_allowed’ and hit 'Save Policy' button. 
  5. To select from the commonly used policies, click on the ‘+’ sign on the box, and hit ‘Save Policy’. 
  6. All your return policies will now be displayed on the Return Policy page.
