How to add users & configure permissions

Introduction

Efficient team collaboration is essential for managing returns seamlessly. By adding multiple users to your merchant account, brands can assign specific roles and access permissions, ensuring secure and streamlined return operations.

With EcoReturns, merchants can grant different levels of access based on responsibilities—whether it’s handling processing returns, configuring settings, or analyzing return data. Role-based permissions help maintain data security while allowing teams to work efficiently without unnecessary access to sensitive information.

Steps to follow

To add users or modify exisitng user's permissions you need to follow the below-mentioned steps:-

  1. Click on the user menu on the top right of your dashboard and click on Users
  2. If you want to modify an existing users permissions you can click on Permissions and modify them.
  3. If you want to add a new user, click on Add new user
  4. Enter the email and Name of the new user
  5. Now you can either select the role of the user or you can configure the permissions manually by selecting the role as Custom.
  6. Once the permissions are configured, click on Add user. 
  7. The new user will get an invite on his Email with a password. They can use those credentials to login to the EcoReturns dashboard
